The Big Ten's #2 seeded team in Chicago has now been selected to the 2015 NCAA Tournament and officially know their place in this year's bracket. The Maryland Terrapins were 27-6 overall this season, 14-4 in Big Ten Regular season play, and went 1-1 in the Big Ten Tournament with a win over Indiana and a loss to Michigan State. Maryland was led by Big Ten Coach of the Year Mark Turgeon, All-Big Ten players Melo Trimble and Dez Wells.
The Terrapins have been selected as a #4 in the Midwest Region. They will face Valparaiso in the Round of 64 with a potential matchup with Vuffalo or West Virginia awaiting in the Round of 32, if Maryland is able to advance.
