Big Ten Releases 2015-16 Conference Matchups

The Big Ten formally announced the upcoming slate of conference games for the 2015-16 season and it's likely to draw the ire of some Big Ten fans. There were already a number of scheduling issues in the past thanks to only 18 conference games with each team having 11 different opponents, but the addition of Maryland and Rutgers has led to even more complaints about uneven schedules and unprotected rivalries.

We recently just posted an editorial on the issue that can be read here and naturally it appears the Big Ten almost went out of it's way to keep many of the rivalries limited to only one game during next season.
