2015 Big Ten Basketball Recruiting Signing Day Roundup

It's Crootin' season folks and your favorite Big Ten coaches are hunting down the best game the world has to offer. Let's roundup the talent that is signed, sealed and delivered from yesterdays start to the early signing period.

Brian Spurlock-USA TODAY Sports

Wednesday marked the first day for the NCAA's week long early signing period for the 2016 recruits. While there aren't too many surprises, it will be interesting to see if ESPN Top-100 recruits such as Josh Jackson (can Maryland and Sparty slither in for a last second signature?), Rawle Alkins (Hoosiers), Kobi Simmons (Ohio State), Jarret Allen (Hoosiers again), Abdulhakim Ado (Penn State) and Charloe Moore (Illini) attach their John Hancock's to a Big Ten's offer sheet.

Regardless, let's hone in on some of the nation's top talents that are now confirmed Big Ten Powerhouses:

Michigan State Spartans

The Spartans and Tom Izzo are at it again, signing what is now the best class in the Big Ten according to 247Sports:

#TheClass

Penn State Nittany Lions

I know it's sometimes silly to get super involved with a recruiting class, but I love these future Lions and am already salivating at the opportunity to run the Creating the Hype articles on this spectacular coop featuring Tony Carr, Lamar Stevens, Joe Hampton and Nazeer Bostick:

Maryland

Minnesota

Michigan Wolverines

On Iowa

A record three in-state recruits! THREE!

Ohio State Buckeyes

Indiana Hoosiers

It looks like the Hoosiers will be having a nice week especially with the De'Ron Davis news and the signing of Grant Gelon:

Boiler Up!

Purdue lands yet another score first, ask questions later recruit in Carsen Edwards:

Northwestern Wildcats

Nebraska Corn Huskers

Fighting Illini

And the Illini lands the signature of their only 2016 commit:
