In 1995 Michigan State turned longtime assistant coach Tom Izzo into the program's new head coach, replacing Jud Heathcote. Izzo's first season wasn't an instant splash, as the coach took the Spartans to a 16-16 record. Things quickly changed in East Lansing shortly after though.
After his first season, Izzo has led the Spartans to a winning record in every following season. Why am I mentioning that today? Well, that means Izzo has led the Spartans to 19 straight winning seasons and it happens to be 19 days until the upcoming Big Ten basketball season. Oh, and if Izzo returns to the NCAA Tournament like expected, it will mark the 19th straight NCAA Tournament appearance by the Spartans. State is coming off of a Final Four appearance last year and has arguably improved, looking for even more success in 2015-16.
Speaking of Tom Izzo and Michigan State, the Spartans held their Midnight Madness last night. For this year's entrance Izzo went the Mission Impossible route. While a step down from his Kiss heroics last year, it was still another solid enough entrance:

As for their Midnight Madness, it did provide this gem with a video of Lourawls Nairn (only 5'10") climbing the mountain for a dunk:
