Minnesota's Bakary Konate and Nate Mason to miss time due to injuries
In some unfortunate news for the Gophers, two players will be missing some time over the next several weeks. Center Bakary Konate, who will most likely be the team's starting center, is set to miss about a month due to a broken foot. The recovery timeline could see him return in time for the opener, though that's currently up in the air. Also, guard Nate Mason will miss some practice after suffering a bruised knee, a decisively better result as there was initially some fear that it could have been an ACL tear. Mason should be good to go for the season opener.
