The Spartans have picked up a commitment from a member of the class of 2015 when Ohio shooting guard Kyle Ahrens decided to join Tom Izzo and staff in East Lansing. Ahrens is the second member of MSU's 2015 recruiting class. Ahrens was also being recruited by Boston College, Dayton, Tennessee, and Xavier among others.
Ahrens is a 3* recruit on the 247Composite and the #5 ranked player in the state of Ohio. Mike Wilson from Scout broke the commitment earlier today. His piece is linked here. Here are some quotes from Kyle about commiting to the Spartans:
