Cline is from Carmel High School in Indiana and had other offers from Ball State, Belmont, Lipscomb, Northern Kentucky, South Alabama, and UNC Wilmington. He is not currently rated in the 247Sports Composite Index, but is viewed as a terrific shooter which is always hard to turn down. Below is a video from the most recent Run ‘N" Slam AAU Tournament:

He shows off his ability from long range and also shows off some decent dribble drive skills in this video. While Cline is not going to be viewed as a huge get for Purdue, he does have talent and will have a chance to turn into a deadly shooter for the Boilers going forward.
