Recruiting: Indiana Offers 2016 Shooting Guard Rawle Alkins

Indiana has offered 6'4" 2016 shooting guard Rawle Alkins. Alkins is rated as a four star player according to the 247Sports Composite Index where he checks in as #36 overall which is the #6 overall shooting guard and #1 overall player in the state of New York. Alkins has offers from Cincinnati, Minnesota, Seton Hall, Villanova and others. He has also had rising interest from schools such as Arizona, UConn, Florida, and Kentucky. Alkins is the 16th player already offered by Tom Crean in 2016. The Hoosiers currently have 4 openings for that class assuming no one on the current team leaves early for any reason.

Alkins did seem pretty excited upon receiving the offer today:

It is still way too earlier in this recruitment to figure out who has the upper hand, but Indiana does seem to be the premier school on the offer list as of today. Before today, the crystal ball predictions had him going to Villanova at 100% - but we are way too early in the process to take that with any seriousness.
