2015 Point Guard Hyron Edwards would like to get his decision over with by the end of July. He has been having a great AAU season this summer and there have been several schools getting newly involved with him. He has been viewed as a lock for the Boilermakers to this point and is still viewed as the unanimous 100% choice by the 247Sports Crystal Ball.
Recently, both UNLV and California have gotten involved and Edwards would like to visit both schools before making a decision. This isn't great news for Purdue as they would just like to get a commitment from him before he heats up even more on the AAU trail and gains offers from other programs. There is also some good news on this recruitment for Boiler fans though - archrival Indiana appears to have taken themselves out of the picture and moved on to other targets.
Even with the potential upcoming visits to UNLV and California - I don't see Edwards going anywhere but Purdue and that will be a good pickup for the Boilers to go along with recent SG commit Ryan Cline.
