Recruiting: Michigan Offers 2016 Power Forward TJ Leaf

Michigan has offered 2016 power forward TJ Leaf.  Leaf is rated as a 5* according to 247Sports.  Leaf has received attention from numerous programs including Arizona, Indiana, and UCLA.  Many of the nation's major programs are recruiting Leaf.  Leaf is the seventh player to receive an offer from Michigan today.

This is what I wrote about Leaf for Wolverine247:

"Leaf is the dynamic player you would expect out of a 5* recruit. He can shoot, adjust at the hoop, pass, and run the floor. What really sets him apart is his incredible length and ability to create space. Not only can he create space with his speed and body, but he also is great at positioning the ball away from defenders, which prevents defenders from interfering with shots and passes. This also makes it quite easy for him to adjust when he gets inside and his ease of scoring over smaller defenders is incredibly impressive. That high release point also adds to a great natural stroke, which makes him a threat all over the floor. Other things that jump off the tape are his great court awareness and athleticism. Not only can get down the court quickly, but he can also find teammates before defenses have time to react. On defense, he is incredibly effective at disrupting opponents' shots and displays the skills of a natural shot blocker. This may drop off a tad against bigger opponents, but it is pretty hard not to see him continuing this at the next level."

Indiana is currently favored by the Crystal Ball for Leaf's commitment.
