Skinny:

Wisconsin destroyed American in their game Thursday, taking a 75-35 victory. Oregon then easily took care of BYU in the next game, winning by 19 points. The Ducks finished the regular season 3rd in the Pac 12, they split their two games with #1 seed Arizona this season. The Badgers and Oregon shared common opponents North Dakota and Illinios this season, both teams dominated UND and were able to beat the Illini, with Wisconsin doing it twice pretty easily. Nike U likes to get out and run, and they score the ball well. Wisconsin will have to slow down a Duck offense that has scored 100 in four games this season and is 11th best in the country in points per game.

Players to Watch:

Elgin Cook: Cook scored a team high 23 points off the bench to lead the Ducks against BYU. He is from Milwaukee, his dad played for the Bucks in the same arena as today's game, giving Cook as much of a home court feel as the Badgers will have

Jason Calliste: Also coming off the bench in the first game was Calliste, who went 11-12 from the line and had 4 assists to help make sure the Cougars couldn't close the gap. The Senior transfer from the University of Detroit has shot an incredible 50% from beyond the arc this season.

Everyone in Red and White: So far this season it has become obvious that this Wisconsin team can score a lot more effectively than previous Bo Ryan teams. Part of the reason for this is that the Badgers can get significant points from almost every player in their rotation. Four Badgers average double figures(Kaminsky, Brust, Dekker, Jackson), with Gasser averaging 9.1 ppg as well. Someone will step up and lead the offense today, but it is very difficult to guess who it will be on a team like this.

Prediction:

The Badgers won't dominate today like they did Thursday, but I still like them to get the victory. Wisconsin 80 Oregon 73
