Ohio State opened the NCAA Tournament against Dayton today in Buffalo, NY and are currently losing 33-30. Ohio State had a five point lead, but Dayton fought back to take the lead at halftime. OSU was able to dominate in the post, and will be looking to continue pounding the ball in there in the second half. Aaron Craft is annoying most of the country with his impeccable shooting (3-of-3 from the field, and the free throw line) leading the Buckeyes with nine points, four turnovers, two assists, and two steals. Sam Thompson has eight points and one rebound to assist Craft. Dayton center Matt Kavanaugh has nine points to lead the Flyers, while Devin Oliver and Dyshawn Pierre have seven points each. Ohio State may be in for a fight, as Dayton doesn't seem to be intimidated by the Big Ten pedigree. For Ohio State to win, they'll need to feed the ball inside and try to get Kavanaugh in foul trouble. They'll also need to continue to slow the game down, because Dayton wants to run.
