Introducing Andrew Emmer - BTP's Newest Contributor

Big Ten Powerhouse is pleased to announce the addition of a brand new staff member. In the site's desire to expand coverage on Big Ten recruiting, we have added Andrew Emmer to the staff. Andrew has contributed to SBNation's Maryland site Testudo Times. He is the site's first writer with a background in one of the Big Ten's recent additions and will bring great knowledge to the site. Here is a little more information on Andrew:

"I'm originally from New York but went to school at the University of Maryland, graduated in 2013, and never left. I currently live right outside of Washington D.C. in Silver Spring, Maryland. Besides the Terps, I'm a diehard Knicks fan, along with rooting for the Giants, Mets and Capitals. I also like cooking and watching Jeopardy. In high school I was on the varsity bowling and Ultimate Frisbee teams. I have a small piece of the court from historic Cole Field House at Maryland that my buddy "borrowed" from storage at Comcast Center. They were going to throw it out, so it's all cool, probably."
