We're in full season preview mode so this countdown update is going to be light, but boy is it good. I know the competition is suspect, at best, and it's only an exhibition game...but talk about beast mode from A.J. Hammons:
ICYMI, @BoilerBall fans: How nice was this A.J. Hammons block-block-dunk sequence? http://t.co/GDxNf9yYxa

Oh and like I mentioned on the podcast, Hammons can actually hit from outside...not that he'll shoot much from out there in the season. While it'd be nice to see a little JJ from the big man, I've came to terms that it's not going to happen.
A.J. Hammons shows off improved offensive game, with a 3 and nice spin move on consecutive @BoilerBall buckets. http://t.co/qOsJFLUJLx

And here's a few more highlights from Basil Smotherman and Isaac Haas.
No secret here: @BoilerBall's Basil Smotherman is fun to watch in transition. http://t.co/jsfIBPqAmS

Defense? Yeah, @BoilerBall freshman Isaac Haas can do that, too. Check out this block! http://t.co/D1hsMWw9jR

There was one thing that caught my eye that is potentially alarming for Purdue fans, though...and it was another tepid performance from the charity stripe (14 of 26). I know Purdue was better here during the scrimmages, but why does it seem like come game time no one can successfully convert from the free throw line in West Lafayette?
