John Groce got another commitment for his 2015 class, adding four-star shooting guard Aaron Jordan.

Illinois' 2015 recruiting class is already looking better than their class of 2014. Four star recruit Aaron Jordan committed to the Illini on Saturday. An Illinois native, Jordan plays high school ball at Plainfield East High School. He is the second commit in Illinois' class of 2015, joining small forward D.J. Williams, who is also from Illinois.

Aaron Jordan is ranked as a four star recruit by both Rivals and 247 Sports, and Rivals ranks him 60th overall in the country. Jordan had offers from other Big Ten schools, including Wisconsin, Indiana, Purdue, and Northwestern. Jordan also passed up on offers from Xavier, Georgia Tech, Creighton, and Butler.

Jordan is a huge get for John Groce, who is in his second year as head coach at Illinois. With the commitments from Williams and Jordan, Illinois not only has two of the top 100 players in the nation, but two of the top five recruits in the state of Illinois. Groce is proving early on that he wants to keep Illinois' top prep stars in the state. With Tracy Abrams and Rayvonte Rice graduating after the 2014-2015 season, Jordan and Williams are bound to become key contributors for the Illini in their freshman seasons.
