Analysis after the jump
Big Ten Ranked Teams:
#1 Ohio State (24-1) : Even with the loss to Wisconsin this week, Ohio State is still the best team in the country. That is why I kept them at number one. I believe they still deserve to be there. Besides giving up a 15 point lead against Wisconsin, it was an awesome game. It is extremely hard to win at the Kohl Center. If that game was on a neutral court, I would take Ohio State. Wisconsin was the only game Ohio State had this week.
#9 Wisconsin (19-5) : Wisconsin showed what it is capable of by coming back from a 15 point deficit to win at home against #1 Ohio State. They rose four spots in my poll this week. They also played this week and almost lost to them before forcing overtime. We will truly find out how well Wisconsin plays on the road this week when they go to Purdue on Wednesday.
#11 Purdue (20-5) : Purdue put the hammer down this week. They beat rival Indiana at home and then went on the road and beat Illinois by 11. They rose just one spot this week. We should know if the Boilers are a top 10 team by the end of the week, as they face Wisconsin and Ohio State at home this week.
If you have any questions about why I put the non-Big Ten teams where I put them in the BT Powerhouse Top 25, feel free to leave your questions in the comments.
