From one mess to another, Coach Tressel may have traded for the shambles left behind at Ohio St. for the work in progress know as the Indianapolis Colts.

Sad news out of Michigan State.

"Purdue guard John Hart has had surgery on his right foot to repair a stress fracture and the recovery is expected to take 12 to 16 weeks.

Coach Matt Painter made the announcement in a release Friday.

Hart will be a junior next season and the timeline could keep him off the court when practice opens in mid-October."

Looks like PSU found its next coach.

BT Powerhouse and Off-Tackle Empire came together and had an NCAA Tourney Preview love-child. An excerpt:

Wisconsin extends Purdue's road losing streak to 4 games. Despite 40 Purdue points in the 2nd half, the Badgers were able to more or less match them punch for punch with 39 points of their own, and came away with a hard fought W.

Jon Leuer turned in a double-double with 24 points and 13 rebounds, along with a single assist. JaJuan Johnson finished with 23 points and 4 rebounds. Just days after a putrid performance from the Wisconsin bench against Penn State, the Badgers got a much-needed boost from Ryan Evans, who added 10 points, a rebound, and a steal.
