2014 NBA Summer League: Big Ten Players On Summer League Rosters

Bruce Bennett

The NBA Summer League is a major part of the selection process for team rosters. Which Big Ten players will be playing this summer?

Though the NBA Draft is clearly the most significant offseason event in terms of team rosters, the Summer League is arguably the second biggest factor in determining which players make the cut and those that are forced to look around at other leagues for next season.  With this in mind, let's take a look at some of the Big Ten players that will be playing in the NBA Summer League this season.

Just a few thoughts before we dive in the list.  First, the Big Ten had one of its best drafts in well over a decade in 2014 and has been doing very well at turning out pro talent in the last few seasons.  This should imply a pretty sizable presence in the Summer League.  Along with this, it's important to note that an appearance on this list in no way guarantees a player a position next season or even with the organization.  Players in the Summer League move around all the time.  The list also clarifies that if a team is participating in both the Orlando and Las Vegas Summer Leagues, which event the player will be participating in with that team.  Finally, not all the Summer League rosters are confirmed at this point, so this list may not be 100% accurate right now.

With no further delay, here are the Big Ten players in the 2014 NBA Summer League.
