The loss to Louisville in Atlanta last year has stuck with Michigan all season. Thursday in Milwaukee, it appears that the Wolverines are doing everything that they can to put that in their rearview.
Behind a spirited effort from one of the nation's most potent offenses, and some good defense to go alongside, Michigan leads the Wofford Terriers by the score of 34-20 at the end of the 1st Half at the BMO Harris Bradley Center in Milwaukee, Wisconsin.
Perhaps the most surprising storyline from the first half is the play of sophomore Glenn Robinson III. The enigmatic forward known as "GR3" has started his 2014 NCAA Tournament off strongly with an 11-point performance in the first 20 minutes to lead all scorers on the floor. In addition, Robinson is shooting 62.5 percent from the field.
The Wolverines as a whole are shooting a remarkable 63.6 percent, and 50.0 percent from downtown on six attempts.
Wofford has had plenty of opportunities in the game, taking 27 shots but they are not getting them to fall. The Terriers have made just nine made field goals and are 0-8 from the three-point line. Junior guard Karl Cochran leads with six points on a meager 27.2 percent.
Enjoy the 2nd Half!
