Ken Pomeroy's Big Ten Simulations

Stay connected for news and updates

So, college basketball whiz Ken Pomeroy decided to simulate who will win the Big Ten regular season title. And to really get some good results, he simulated it 10,000 times. Here's what his computer spits out:

Ohio State: 88% (8791)

Purdue: 9% (943)

Illinois: 1% (98)

Michigan State: 1% (94)

Wisconsin: 1% (74)

Northwestern: 0% (0)

Pomeroy's caveat is that the percentage chance of the favorite (in this case, Ohio State) is slightly inflated at this point of the season. Still, it seems as though this is Ohio State's title to lose. And his computer shows shockingly low numbers for Michigan State, Wisconsin, and Illinois. What do you all think?
